Historical Visit

A museum is a building in which we see objects of artistic, cultural, historical and scientific interest. These things are kept here for the public. It is a treasure house of great knowledge. It makes us familiar with the history, culture, civilization, life style, religious practices, art and architecture of the country. It offers a peep into the country’s ancient social, political, cultural, economic and religious life of the people.

During last week of September students of std 4th got opportunity to visit Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Museum. It is really an amazing place.The coin collection is outstanding.Some of the old war suits and sarees can be seen here.

The museum is having five halls describing various historic activities and times. This place has greater importance for the history enthusiasts.

This museum is a treasure of equipments, war tools & coins from ancient times.

The student had a wonderful experience visiting the Museum since it is indeed a storehouse of knowledge. It felt as if the past had come alive in front of their eyes.
