Ganesha Chaturthi is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Ganesha, the symbol of wisdom and remover of obstacles. This festival is also known as Ganesh Utsav which means festival of Ganesh. On 13th September 2018, Ganpati staphna was done in school for 10 days. Everyday one class gets chance to do Aarti. During this festival school conducts cultural program for every class where children get to perform various activites.
Ganeshotsav is celebrated with lots of Fun and masti in Shrividya...
Every year the students of Shrividya from std 4th spend a unique way to celebrate this universally popular festival. The children make the idols of their favorite God
Ganesh with Shadu Mati with help of their teachers without any chemical colours .
This year the process of idol- making was started in month of August. The students install the Ganesh at their home. The same eco-friendly Ganesha is installed even in school.
Teachers believe that this creative, social concept not only teaches students about environment and art, but also enables children to gain insight into our Indian culture.
